The gals start as enemies and rivals with a secret attraction to each other, but gradually fall in love. It’s fun, queer, and retro-inspired, with a distinctive visual style.

The second book picks up where the first left off, as Honey and Turpentine struggle to balance their music with day job & money problems, persevere through mishaps and injuries, and start to realize what they mean to each other. Volume 2 collects the series from 2014 to early 2018. During this time the comic was a finalist for an Autostraddle comics award (2016) and a National Cartoonists Society Reuben award (2017).”
